So you want to make a Cosplay costume but you don’t know where to sew?! This
beginning sewing class will teach basic sewing machine techniques and hand
stitches, with the goal of helping the participants develop a skill set to make a simple cosplay costume. Participants will create a notebook of these techniques for future reference, and there will be beginner friendly projects to reinforce those concepts. In the process, students will make a small zippered pouch, a cross the body bag, and a set of gauntlets which could be used at a Cosplay Convention. There will be some discussions of how to develop a costume in general and how to make it a reality.
