Emergent Arts is releasing our Mandala Monday pre-recorded classes!  Each lesson is in the format of a YouTube tutorial video featuring a different Mandala themed project.  Cost includes all materials.  Kits will be available at Emergent Arts before the class. Please allow 48 hours to prepare your kit.

• Faux Batik with Kara Gunter– Learn how to use washable gel glue and acrylic paints on fabric to create the look of real batik! You need a little space for this project. For children 12 and under, this project would require some supervision and guidance. Including washing and drying time, this project could take a couple of days to fully finish (does not have to be consecutive).
• Mandala Paintings with Karina Jo Martinez– Learn Karina Jo’s technique for creating raised mandala paintings on canvas. This project is fairly easy, but does require some dexterity. Once you get the hang of the painting process it goes fairly quickly and easily for stunning results! Recommended for ages 12- adult.
• God’s Eyes with Kara Gunter– Make a colorful God’s Eye Mandala with a variety of yarn colors wrapped around wood dowels. This project is meditational and involves counting and wrapping yarn. Requires some dexterity, though the project could be started by an adult and aided by younger children. Unsupervised, the project would be best for ages 12 and up.
• Quilled Mandalas with Roxi Rose– Roxi walks you through quilling snowflakes! This is a great jumping off point for learning how to quill paper. Perfect for the beginner and ages 12 and up.
• String Arts with Kara Gunter– Make a layered string mandala by wrapping multi-colored thread around nails on a wooded board! This is a great learning experience for kids and requires counting to develop a pattern of wrapping thread around each nail. With supervision, any age, as well as adults!
