Self Defense


Saturdays, Noon – 1:00 pm
October 12 – November 16 
$10/wk drop-in or $60 for full 6-week session.

This class will give you tips, tricks, and basic techniques to keep yourself safe. Learn to strengthen you voice and body with confidence and self awareness. Led by Alexis Hampo, who is an expert in martial arts.

Alexis Hampo began teaching martial arts over 9 years ago. She went on to earn her third degree black belt in 2013, and competed in Coventry, England winning a gold medal in team sparring. She has been training traditional Tae-Kwon- Do for over 15 years and has cross-trained in multiple other disciplines. Previously Alexis taught women’s self defense at Garland County Library and The YMCA.  This class is intended to empower women by simply, making them feel safe. Women can’t find their voice if they don’t feel safe.

Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
